Classic Rose Arch

Do you know that we create all sorts of different designs for garden furniture and garden structures that you can buy from our on-line shop?

Arches, gazebos, pergolas, garden seats, well and pond covers or more bespoke items like fruit cages or even unique sculptures. You can browse all the different types of structures that are available or search for inspiration to help with your garden design via our website

Wrought iron arches, gazebos and pergolas are perfect as an elegant feature to frame a view, create a feature and as an integral part of the design of your garden. The solid construction of our garden arches will support climbing roses and plants and offer durability and strength for a lifetime.

We supply all metal garden structures in sections which easily bolt together using discreet halving joins. They can either be pushed into the ground or set into a solid base.

The Ironart team are a mix of highly skilled metalworkers and blacksmiths, a number of whom graduated from art college before embarking on a career in metalworking.  If you are thinking of commissioning a piece of garden sculpture, we’d love to hear from you. If you have an idea in mind and don’t see what you’re looking for on our website, please get in touch as we’d be happy to help with ideas. Almost anything is possible!

Floral Garden Arch

Malvern Arch at the Eden Project

In 2012 we designed and created a decorative floral arch for the Eden Project in Cornwall. We were approached this year by 3 sisters who wanted to give their mum a unique present for a special birthday. They were inspired by the arch that we had created for the Eden project and commissioned us to create a similar one for their mum. Cecily Robinson has worked on this lovely arch over the summer. It has just been installed and is looking glorious! Talking with Cecily about working on the arch she mentioned the challenges of creating consistent tapers from 40mm round bar at the bottom through to a point at the top. She also enjoyed the contrast of working with solid uprights that form the main structure of the arch alongside creating the fine flowery details that adorn the arch from top to bottom!  See here the original arch at the Eden Project and the newly created arch installed in situ. If you are interested in commissioning something like this or similar do get in touch to discuss your idea.

Allium Gates in Summer

Well, June has come and gone and we did manage to get back to a few of the gardens where we’ve recently installed ironwork – just to see how it’s all looking with the gardens in full flower.  In Doynton, the Allium Gates are settling in particularly well – a fitting reflection of the idea of ‘bounteousness’ that inspired them – and hopefully fulfilling their chief purpose of keeping that muntjac out …
